영어권 청소년(Youth)과 영어권 청년(Young Adults)을 하나님의 말씀으로 양육하며, 영어 예배와 액티비티를 통해 하나님 나라 일꾼을 세우는 사역에 열정과 소명을 가진 분의 지원을 기다립니다.

1. 사역 포지션
• 영어부(EM) 파트타임 사역자 1명
o Youth/Young Adults 예배 및 양육 중심 사역

2. 주요 사역 내용 (주당 약 16시간 내외)
• 정기모임 및 준비
o 매주 금요일 Youth 모임 인도 (3시간)
 바이블 스터디 / 액티비티
o 매주 주일 영어부(청년/유스) 예배 설교 (1시간)
o 매주 주일 영어 청년 성경공부 인도 (2시간)
o 스탭미팅 참석 (2시간)
o 설교 및 성경공부 준비 (4시간)
 본문 연구, 적용 준비, 교육자료/소그룹 가이드 등 포함
• 주중 심방 및 양육/상담 (4시간)
o 필요에 따른 개인/가정 심방, 멘토링, 후속양육
• 특별행사
o 영어권 청소년 / 청년부 수련회 기획, 준비, 진행

3. 자격 요건
• 남침례교 신학교 또는 대학학부에 재학 중 또는 졸업하신 분
o 성경적이고 건강한 신학교에 재학 중 또는 졸업하신 분도 지원가능
• 영어권 다음 세대(Youth/Young Adults)를 사랑하고, 관계 중심의 양육과 제자훈련에 헌신할 수 있는 분
• 영어로 설교 / 성경공부 인도가 가능한 분
o 한국어 사용과 한국문화에 흥미있는 분들 우대 (필요조건 아님)
• 미국에서 합법적으로 사역 및 거주 가능하신 분
• 침례교 신앙과 메세지 2000 및 교회 및 담임목사의 사역 방향에 공감하며 동역할 수 있는 분

4. 사례(Compensation)
• 교회 내규에 따름 (면접 시 안내)
• 사례비 예상 범위: 월 $3,000 ~ $3,600 (사역 범위 및 경력에 따라 협의 가능)

Part-Time English Ministry (EM) Pastor / Minister for Youth & Young Adults

Korean Baptist Church of San Jose (KBCSJ), located in San Jose of Northern California, is an SBC-affiliated church with a vision of being a restoring community that gives life and raises disciples. We are prayerfully seeking a Part-Time English Ministry (EM) Pastor/Minister to shepherd and disciple our Youth and Young Adults through gospel-centered worship, biblical teaching, and relational ministry.

1. Position
• Part-Time EM Pastor/Minister (1 opening)
o Primary focus: Youth & Young Adults worship, teaching, and discipleship

2. Key Responsibilities (Approx. 16 hours/week)

Weekly Gatherings & Preparation
• Friday Youth Gathering (3 hrs/week)
o Bible study + activities / community building
• Sunday EM Worship Sermon (1 hr/week)
o Preach for Youth/Young Adults (English)
• Sunday Young Adults Bible Study (2 hrs/week)
o Lead and facilitate discussion (English)
• Staff Meeting (2 hrs/week)
• Sermon & Bible Study Preparation (4 hrs/week)
o Exegesis, application, lesson planning, small group guides, etc.

Pastoral Care (Weekdays — 4 hrs/week)
• Discipleship, mentoring, follow-up care, and pastoral visits as needed

Special Events
• Plan and lead Youth/Young Adults retreats and ministry events (seasonal/as scheduled)

** The schedule and scope of responsibilities may be adjusted depending on church needs and the candidate’s gifting and availability **

3. Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or graduated from an SBC seminary or undergraduate program, or another biblically faithful, healthy seminary program
• A genuine love for English-speaking Youth and Young Adults, with a commitment to relational discipleship and spiritual formation
• Able to preach and lead Bible studies in English
• Korean language ability is a plus (not required); interest in Korean culture is welcomed
• Legally able to live and serve in the United States
• In agreement with Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and able to joyfully partner with the church’s direction and Senior Pastor

4. Compensation
• Compensation will follow church guidelines and will be discussed during the interview process.
• The expected monthly compensation range is $3,000 ~ $3,600, depending on qualifications, experience, and scope of ministry.
