"교회다운 교회, 성도다운 성도"들의 공동체를 꿈꾸는 토랜스제일장로교회에서는 Korean American 1.5세나 2세로서 영어권 사역을 준비하는 신학생들을 위해 장학금을 제공합니다.
장학금 신청 대상자
미국 내에서 신학 공부 중인 Korean American 1.5세나 2세 대학생 혹은 대학원생인 자로서 영어권 사역(Ministry or Teaching)을 준비하고 있는 자
장학금 종류
목회자 양성을 위한 장학금: 목회학 석사(M. Div.)과정 및 박사(D.Min.)과정입학 예정자나 재학생
신학자 양성을 위한 장학금: 신학 공부를 위한 (M. Div 및 D.Min. 제외) 대학원 과정 입학 예정자나 재학생
- 지원서류
1. 지원자 이력서 (Resume)
2. 에세이 (2-3 Pages)
1) 목회자 양성 장학금: "이 시대 Korean American 교회를 볼 때, 나는 미래의목회자로서 어떤 고민과 사명 의식을 갖고 있는가?"
2) 신학자 양성 장학금: "이 시대 Korean American 교회를 진단할 때 나는 미래의 신학자로서 어떤 고민과 사명 의식을 갖고 있는가?"
3. 추천서 2인 (학업과 사역 현장에서의 추천서 각 1인 요)
4. 가장 최근 학교의 성적 증명서
5. 입학 확인서 (2019년 가을 입학생만 해당 됨)

Torrance First Presbyterian Church strives toward our vision:
‘Real Church, True Christians,’ and we are offering scholarships for
1.5 or 2nd Generation Korean-American seminarians who are preparing for ministries.
Scholarship Beneficiaries
1.5 or 2nd Generation Korean-American Seminarians who are currently enrolled in their undergraduate or graduate program preparing for future English ministries.
Classification of Scholarships
Scholarships for Future Ministers: Students who are enrolled for M.Div or D.Min program.
Scholarships for Future Theologians: Students who are enrolled in programs for theological studies other than M.Div or D.Min.
Requirements

2. Essay (2-3 pages)

As a future minister, what is your calling/vision for yourself? What is your current evaluation of the Korean American Church?
2) Scholarships for Future Theologians
As a future theological scholar, what is your calling/vision for yourself?

3. Reference Letters (Digital copy of reference letters are required)
- One Academic Reference
- One Ministry Reference
4. Official Transcript from the most recent school (Digital copy of official transcript) If the school does not issue digital copy of official transcript, attach unofficial transcript via email
5. Proof of Admission/Enrollment (only for the applicants who start their program in the Fall 2019)
